Catch up... So I got engaged to the most amazing man on January 28th! It was the most amazing day and I was totally suprised! I came home on my lunch break from work to find rose petals leading to my room and when I walked into my room there were candles all over and he was standing there with a bouquet of my favorite flowers. He is truly the sweetest, most loving, wonderful man I know and I cannot wait to start my life with him on August 13th! My entire life I have dreamed about what my wedding will be like and I hope I can pull it all off while living in another state! So also exciting...the week I got engaged so did two of my cousins! Cam got engaged to Aurielle on Tuesday, I got engaged to Miguel on Friday and Regan got engaged to Daniel on Saturday! 3 in a week, our family couldn't believe it! And then 2 weeks later Paige got engaged to Marshall! We have lots of weddings to look forward to this year and all 5 weddings are people from our little town of Valley Center...aka the greatest place on earth!
After I got engaged on Friday the next exciting thing for us was my candle passing ceremony. I sometimes take DG for granted when I don't come around all the time and I forget how important the past 3 and a half years have been in Delta Gamma but when I got to stand in front of my friends and sisters and tell them about my engagement it was a reminder of how much Delta Gamma means to me. Everyone has been so supportive and loving throughout my relationship with Miguel and I honestly don't know what I would have done without my sisters! Being in a long distance relationship is hard but when there are people there for me all the time it makes it much easier. So I look back at the past 3 years and I am so lucky I have been able to know the most amazing women around! My family, my fiance,my faith, my sorority, and my friends are the most important things in my life. For them I am truly blessed and grateful.
